Governor Vilma Santos-Recto converged with DILG Batangas Cluster 3 Head Juel Fatima M. Dijan-Trinidad last July 14, 2025 at the Governor’s Mansion to discuss collaborative programs and projects towards good governance.
As a follow-through, Provincial Administrator, Atty. Joel L. Montealto, together with Provincial Chief of Staff Pedrito Martin M. Dijan, Jr., hosted and attended the 3rd Quarter 2025 Sub-Local Governance Resource Center Multi-Sectoral Advisory Committee (Sub-LGRC MSAC) Meeting of DILG Batangas Cluster 3 on July 17, 2025 at Batangas PIO Conference Room, Capitol Compound, Batangas City.
Cluster Head Juel Fatima M. Dijan-Trinidad of DILG Batangas Cluster 3 presided over the meeting and discussed the partnership entitled “Vigilant, Safe, and Disaster-Resilient (VSR) Communities: Bayanihan sa Cluster 3 para sa Matatag na Batangas tungo sa Kaayusan, Kalinisan, Kabuhayan at Kalusugan”.
In consonance to DILG thrusts, the partnership is aimed to promote the whole-of-nation approach by strengthening the network of volunteers, non-government organizations, civil society organizations, academe, etc. to encourage participation from different stakeholders and incentivize LGUs/barangays which shall carry out the implementation of this multi-sectoral undertaking in line with the principles of decentralization and local autonomy for good governance.
The “VSR Communities” is geared to intensify the program implementation of DILG’s Kalinga at Inisyatiba para sa Malinis na Bayan (KALINISAN) to the Cluster 3’s 332 barangays within the 3rd and 6th Districts of Batangas.
